Our lives are full of different events and occasions. One story from my childhood is very embarrassing. My friends and I often had special preparations for the Halloween.
Thus, one peaceful morning, my friend Anna called me. She was a very energetic girl and adventurous. The annoying sound woke me up from my pleasant dreams. She said that she had finished working on our Halloween costumes, and we needed to try them on at her house.
I had no choice but to accept her invitation. I went to Ann’s house after I had a delicious breakfast. Actually, we often hung out at her or my house, so her parents had no problem with me visiting their family that early. Ann showed me three fanciful costumes: a fairy, a bear and a shark. It was a little sad that I had to be a bear because I was really into knights. Ann obviously choose the fairy costume and the shark costume was made for her younger brother Tony. I didn’t like him because he was audacious.
When we took on our strange disguises, Ann suggested going to ask for some candies with me, her and Tony. There were other children outside, but they didn’t wear any costumes. An old granny that lived nearby gave Tony pumpkin-shaped candy. That’s when our rivalry began. I tried very hard to borrow as many candies as I could. However, my neighbor told me that it was October 29 and the Halloween is tomorrow. When I told Ann and Tony about this, they started laughing. Such a funny story.
