1. New Year celebrations are one of the most memorable events which bring happiness. My project is aimed at finding out how young people celebrate the New Year. I have found some data, collected in a form of a table and would like to share my research results. In general, I can identify the main features of the statistics presented in the table. We can observe that the majority of teenagers, which is 68 %, prefer having a family dinner. In addition, it can be identified that only 2 % of respondents travel to another city or country. Comparing the data, it is worth mentioning that the percentage of adolescents going for a walk with friends, which is 16 %, is dramatically higher than the percentage of youngsters eating out in the café as a New Year celebration, which is 5 %. Moreover, it can be pointed out that the percentage of respondents who travel to another city or country (2 %) is slightly lower than the percentage of respondents who have a party at their friends� home (9%). In my opinion, the subject of the research outlines an important problem. People spend a lot of money during the celebrations. Sometimes people find out that they go broke after the celebrations. I consider that it is important for the government to make different educational programs for these people so they can learn how to manage their money properly, to develop their finatial literacy. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that the best way of celebrating New Year is having a family dinner because it is a good way to get united.
